I love this video of quinoa growing in the Andes mountains. The folks over at FAIR. filmed this on a recent trip to Bolivia. I’m so envious. I hope someday I have an opportunity to go to South America and meet the independent farmers who grow quinoa.
Oh well, this video provides stunning views of the quinoa that will have to satisfy me for now.
FAIR. makes an award-winning fair-trade certified quinoa vodka that I have yet to try because I don’t drink alcohol anymore. I have to admit though, I was looking at these ice pops today and thinking that on a hot day they could probably pull me off the wagon.
If I made them with quinoa vodka, of course, I could call it research.
