It’s no secret I am bullish on quinoa. I haven’t shut up about quinoa since I first tried it myself and decided that I should learn more and get involved in promoting this super seed.
I know things have been slow on the blog this month, but that doesn’t mean my interest has waned. Far from that, I have been working on a couple of projects I believe will impress you when I roll them out over the next few weeks.
First, I get a lot of people asking me about my favorite quinoa recipes.
You already have so many ways of cooking quinoa, it’s overwhelming. What is your favorite way?
My favorite recipe this month is Chicken Marinara Quinoa with Peas, but honestly, there are several quinoa dishes in regular rotation at my house.
I am putting together a little cookbook with my absolute favorite recipes so that hopefully, newcomers can find something that rocks their boat no matter what their mood. Those of you who have been here awhile will likely appreciate that all my top recipes will be available in an easy-t0-print format.
Second, my first quinoa contest is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2011. I will have more details to come but for now if you are not already a subscriber, be sure to subscribe to the rss or email feed for this blog so you don’t miss out on the news.
I am negotiating with several quinoa producers and distributors to assemble the mother of all quinoa prizes. If you are a quinoa producer or distributor and you haven’t yet heard from me, please email tammi at tammikibler dot com with the subject “Quinoa Contest” to learn more about the contest and promotional opportunity for your quinoa product.
I have big ideas for spreading the quinoa love (and your market reach) so be sure to let me know if you have quinoa products and want to connect with those of us who are looking for your quinoa in our local stores.
Did you know if you aren’t subscribing to my blog, you risk missing out on new posts and quinoa recipes? Not mention the upcoming quinoa contest. Subscribe today and learn tasty new ways to enjoy quinoa along with other exciting (and sometimes exotic) ingredients.
