As if it weren’t enough to wake up to a fresh blanket of snow last Friday, April 1, I found the snow had pulled the cable wiring off the roof of my building. Next thing I knew, a semi tractor trailer came by and caught the long hanging cables, yanking the whole mess to the ground.
Man, oh, man. No internet and I was supposed to launch my quinoa contest.
It’s probably a good thing this happened because I learned that the contest rules I had written were blending a contest with a sweepstakes. That spells illegal lottery in many languages.
So, I am tweaking the rules and the entry a bit to make this a clear contest. I should have everything ready tomorrow, but in the meantime I wanted to give you a taste of the prize that will be at stake.
